schauinsland-reisen reflected on another year of remarkable success as its fiscal year concluded on October 31, 2024. The Duisburg-based tour operator reported an impressive total of 1.935 million guests who booked their vacations through the company, representing a 3% increase compared to the previous year. Additionally, revenue climbed by 5.6% to €2.27 billion.
CEO Gerald Kassner highlighted the challenges of a highly competitive year, particularly impacted by the insolvency of competitor FTI. "We’ve had a very competitive year, particularly shaped by the insolvency of our competitor FTI," he noted. "We’re pleased that our positive development of recent years continues even in this dynamic market situation."
The company's growth continues to outpace the industry average, fueled in part by a surge in last-minute bookings, which significantly boosted demand. As a result, current revenue levels are 65% higher than pre-COVID figures, underscoring schauinsland-reisen's robust performance in an evolving travel market.
